EXPERIENCE
Will has over 25 years of experience in design and construction. Will started his career as a laborer on construction sites. From there, he worked his way up to positions such as carpenter, superintendent, estimator, project manager, designer, and architect. These various practical roles have provided invaluable opportunities for growth and development. Will’s professional experience includes a wide range of building types including commercial, single and multi-family residential, educational, religious, & industrial.
Will is proficient in Revit Architecture and has a strong interest in building science. Will is particularly interested in thermal envelope design, passive solar, and daylighting strategies. Will has been successful in a number of design competitions and his work has been published. He has been involved with a number of AIA chapters and he served on the City of Oxford’s Pathways Commission.
Outside of work, Will enjoys his own design and construction projects, music, and outdoor activities.
Will is from Louisville, KY and is married to Catarina Passidomo Townes, of Naples, FL. Catarina is an associate professor at Washington & Lee University. They have two children.
